I'm an AmSAT certified teacher of Alexander Technique in New York City and Northeast Pennsylvania. AmSAT's certification process requires a minimum of 1600 hours of training over a 3 year period.

I teach at Union Square in Manhattan, 123rd Street in West Harlem, in Forty-Fort Pennsylvania, and on Zoom.

I trained at The Dimon Institute in New York City, studying under Theodore Dimon, leading theorist, author, and practitioner of Alexander Technique, as well as scholar of the work of FM Alexander. The training I received under Dr. Dimon was demanding, requiring daily practical study of my own body, movement, and attention. Additionally the program consisted of study of several related subjects including neuroscience, anatomy, and skill acquisition. Dr. Dimon certified me as a teacher in June 2016.

I have taken private students since then. Teaching is rewarding and I enjoy the challenge. To me, private lessons are a chance to work closely with a student, to address the unique questions they ask, and to help them begin to study their own body and movement.
